- Selecting a recognized educational program
The prerequisite is the selection of an officially recognized educational leave seminar, such as SEQUOYA. - Submitting an application
You must apply for educational leave in good time directly to your employer, ideally via the human resources department. You must enclose the notification of recognition of the educational measure and the seminar program with your application; approval is usually granted at least six weeks before the start of the educational leave. - Review and decision
The employer reviews the application, taking into account legal requirements and operational concerns. - Participation in the educational program
During the educational leave, you are entitled to time off work and continued payment of your salary. - Proof of completion
After the seminar, a certificate of participation is submitted to the employer.
