What is comprehensive care under Section 16k of SGB II?
Comprehensive support under Section 16k of SGB II is a voluntary assistance program for eligible recipients who are capable of working, face particular challenges, and wish to improve their long-term prospects in the labor market.
It helps individuals overcome personal obstacles—whether psychosocial stress, health limitations, or financial difficulties—and gradually strengthen their employability.
Who is this personalized coaching suitable for?
Individual coaching as part of the comprehensive support program under Section 16k of SGB II is designed for people who have been unemployed for an extended period and wish to regain control of their lives, but still need to overcome significant personal challenges. These may include, for example:
- The challenges of unemployment and career reorientation
- Lack of support in caring for children or dependent family members
- An overall highly demanding daily life that leaves little room for new tasks
If the idea of returning to work on top of all these challenges seems overwhelming right now, this coaching can help you develop new perspectives step by step—ones that are realistic, achievable, and right for you.
What is holistic care all about?
A holistic approach means that not only the job search is in focus, but the whole person with their challenges, strengths, and life circumstances.
- Analysis of the current situation and development of suitable solutions
- Strengthening personal resources
- A realistic plan for professional reorientation
We work systemically and take relevant areas of life into account, such as emotional stability, social environment, and health. This creates clarity, a better way of dealing with obstacles, and a sustainable professional perspective.
